Student focus - Khusbu
My name is Khusbu Singh, and I have recently completed my bachelor's degree in healthcare management from Imperial Business College. I am passionate about the healthcare sector and aspire to pursue a master's degree in healthcare management abroad. My goal is to develop the knowledge, leadership, and management skills needed to help improve the quality and accessibility of healthcare services in Nepal.
Growing up, I have witnessed the challenges faced by our healthcare system, which has inspired me to become part of the solution. I hope to gain international exposure and advanced education that I can bring back to Nepal in the future.
My education up to the bachelor's level was supported by Papa's House, which provided me with the opportunity to complete my studies and build a strong academic foundation. However, as I now pursue higher education, I am responsible for managing my own future and educational expenses.
Currently, my brother supports me by covering my basic needs and living expenses. While he has always encouraged and motivated me to continue my education, he is unable to afford the significant tuition fees required for higher studies abroad. Although I can manage my day-to-day expenses, the cost of pursuing a master's degree overseas remains beyond my financial capacity.
Despite these financial challenges, I remain committed to achieving my academic and professional goals. My aspiration is to pursue a master's degree in healthcare management, gain valuable knowledge and experience, and contribute to strengthening and improving the healthcare system in Nepal.
